Mark Morgan - President

A native Charlottean, Mark Morgan is living out his childhood dream. He has had a lifelong passion for developing and implementing landscapes. In 1979, Mark received his degree in Landscape Design and Ornamental Horticulture from N.C. State University. The recognition which Mark’s gardens and landscape designs have received throughout the years reflects his extensive knowledge of plant materials and local environmental conditions. In 1988, Mark founded The Morgan Landscape Group. He brings thirty years of knowledge and experience to each project, blending beauty, quality and sustainability.

Mark Morgan is a Registered Landscape Contractor with the State of North Carolina. As an active member of the community, Mark serves on the Horticultural Advisory Board at Central Piedmont Community College. He has previously served on the Board of North Carolina Landscape Contractors Association. Mark enjoys giving back to his community through charitable and civic involvement that relates to his profession and to other worthy causes.

Our History

In 1988, Mark Morgan founded The Morgan Landscape Group, a residential and commercial landscape contractor business. As a Registered Landscape Contractor, Mark’s education and professional experience served him well as he began to directly address the needs of the greater Charlotte area. Mark credits the success and growth of the company to the combined efforts of his staff in providing the highest level of quality service and materials.

The company has earned a reputation for working closely with their clients and being responsive to their needs. As the company has grown, so has the scope of projects. Mark and his horticultural staff provide their design expertise in detailing a new landscape or renovating an existing space. The company is honored to have worked with many nationally renowned landscape architectural firms implementing their designs.

The Morgan Landscape Group is committed to “keeping Charlotte green.” 

Awards/Recognition

At The Morgan Landscape Group, our focus is on delivering a superior product which brings our clients great satisfaction. We are honored that our efforts have received special recognition. Over the years, our gardens and landscapes have been featured on the Mint Museum Home and Garden Tour as well as the Winghaven Garden Tour. At the Charlotte Southern Spring Show, we have received both the People’s Choice Award and First Place in the Landscaping Category. We are equally proud of the Best Commercial Landscape Contractor Award we received from the City of Charlotte for the Carillon Building. 

The Morgan Landscape Group is proud to announce that we are teaming up with Providence Produce Market this summer!

Our company will be growing vegetables at our local farm located off of Highway 51 in Charlotte, N.C..  We will be supplying these delicious vegetables exclusively to Providence Produce Market.
